The Android M preview is out, but it is going to be a while before it comes to current devices. That does not mean you cannot taste some of its visual pleasures already. For example, Android M comes with a new launcher that you can install on any phone running on KitKat or Lollipop. Read on to know how to get official Android M launcher on any phone.

How to get Android M Launcher on any Phone
1. Download Velvet.apk (Google app) [HERE] and transfer it to your phone�s memory card. Install the APK file (Do not forget to enable �Unknown Sources� option from settings menu).
2. Now, go to Play store and install the Google Now Launcher.
3. Once the Google Now launcher is installed, go to your phone Settings -> Home -> select Google Now launcher and then tap �Always� option. Alternatively, long press on the Home button and select the launcher.
You are now on the Android M launcher. See how it is working on your phone and how you feel it.
