Where to locate iOS IPSWs Firmwares downloaded on iTunes
It has been a bit issue to locate an iOS IPSWs (Firmwares) after downloading them via iTunes.
This tutorial will help you find & locate where the iOS IPSW you have downloaded from iTune are been saved.
The following are steps to locate iOS IPSWs downloaded via iTunes on various OS
Mac OS X

| iPad | ~/Library/iTunes/iPad Software Updates |
| iPod touch | ~/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates |
| Note: The tilde "~" represents your Home directory. | |
